NMBI Registered Nurse

Thank you for your interest in the Paediatric Homecare Nurse position in Republic of Ireland. Please find the essential and desirable criteria for the role below:

Essential Criteria:

Option 1:

Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in a large acute/tertiary hospital (250+ beds).

At least 1 year as a PICU nurse with 1:1 nursing of critically ill children.

Option 2:

At least 1 year as a NICU nurse with 1:1 nursing of critically ill infants and prior PICU or acute paediatric experience.

Minimum of 4 years in acute paediatrics (e.g., ED, HDU, medical/surgical unit) in a large hospital.

Commitment and confidence to work as a paediatric homecare nurse.

Desirable Criteria:

Overseas PICU/NICU experience in a large hospital.

Previous adult ICU/HDU experience.

Prior homecare nurse experience.
